to have eight model police stations

DERA GHAZI KHAN: The provincial government will construct eight well-designed and model police stations at a cost of over Rs 460 million in Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur districts, The News learnt here.
Sources said that of the eight police stations, three would be constructed in Dera Ghazi Khan district and five in Rajanpur district. In Dera Ghazi Khan, the police stations would be constructed at Vehoa, Raitra and Kot Chutta at a cost of Rs 162 million, the sources said. They said that Vehoa police station would be constructed at a cost of over Rs 54 million, Raitra police station at a cost of over Rs 55 million and Kot Chutta police station at a cost of over Rs 52 million. The five police stations in Rajanpur district would be constructed at Jampur, Muhammadpur, Hajipur, Rojhan and Banglow Icha at a cost of over Rs 306 million. The construction of Jampur police station would cost over Rs 88 million, the sources said, adding that Muhammadpur police station would be constructed at a cost of Rs 54 million. A sum of over Rs 54 million would be incurred on construction of Hajipur police station while the construction of Rojhan police station would cost Rs 54 million, the sources added. They said that a sum of over Rs 54 million had been allocated for construction of Banglow Icha police station. The sources said that a sum of over Rs 73 million would be sanctioned for construction of the Dera Ghazi Khan district police office.
