ISLAMABAD: The JI chief, Siraj-ul-Haq, on Wednesday said setting up police stations and investigation was not the job of Rangers as their task was to apprehend criminals.Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, he said inductions in the Karachi Police had been made on political basis and the force was needed to be depoliticised.Answering a question, he said the recovery of Shahbaz Taseer was a good omen but finding him from Quetta had put a question mark on the government. “He has not been recovered from a cave or the tribal areas but rather from a provincial metropolis. Those who had kidnapped him have not been arrested,” Siraj added. To a question, he said the Pakistan cricket team should not visit India unless the Indian government promises to provide full security.
