KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has dispelled the rumours about the health of the party chief, Altaf Hussain, and termed them as baseless. An MQM leader, Nadeem Nusrat, while talking to The News from London on Wednesday, said in no uncertain terms that Hussain was completely fine and attending to his day-to-day personal and organizational matters as usual. He said that Hussain was constantly in touch with the Coordination Committee of the MQM. Nadeem Nusrat said that certain people were trying to create panic in the ranks of the MQM, and those who were conspiring against the MQM wanted to destabilize the law and order situation in the city.
