Need to explore mines, minerals stressed

Pakistan is enriched with mines and minerals that need to be explored for utilisation of the same for the betterment and development of the country. 

According to a press release, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Vice-Chancellor said this while speaking to Alumni of Department of Mining Engineering UET. He added Mining Alumni were serving in different national and international organisations and urged the youth that they must follow their seniors and get knowledge for their experience to develop real technological minds of engineering operations. 

Chairman Department of Mining Engineering Dr Zulfiqar Ali said the department has been producing engineers for national and international markets for many decades.
