7,000 pro-Mumtaz Qadri protesters booked

A few clergymen and thousands of other pro-Mumtaz Qadri protesters who staged a demonstration against the execution of the killer of Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer on MA Jinnah Road on February 29 were booked for violating the Loud Speakers Act, police said on Sunday. Police lodged two cases against Arshad, Imran, Anjum Attari, Saqib Noorani, Suhail Qadri and 7,000 unknown protesters on behalf of the state.
