MULTAN: Unidentified miscreants pasted a threatening poster on the press club boundary wall on wee hours of Friday.
A press club servant chased the miscreants but they managed to escape. The threatening poster has sent a wave of panic among local journalists while police have beefed up security.
When contacted, police official Muhammad Tahir said that the poster contained a threat that the press club, CPO and RPO offices may be hit anytime. He said that taking into account the current security situation in the city, you could not ignore such threats despite the fact that it had been kept secret for not causing further panic among the people. Some days ago, a threatening poster was pasted at the door of the Pilot Secondary School, Nawan Sheher, which caused panic among the students and parents, the police official added.
