Loyalty film

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy should be congratulated for winning the Oscar for the second time. However, it is unfortunate that none of her documentaries have been shown on local channels. Sharmeen’s detractors have been saying that she only makes documentaries on topics that depict a negative image of the Pakistani society. They are calling upon her to make a documentary on the lives of those who have survived drone attacks to prove her ‘loyalty’.
Sharmeen can surely make such a documentary. Now is the time for her to prove her detractors wrong, make a documentary on this topic and show the reality to the whole world.
