Blacklisted passenger held from airport

GUJRANWALA: An FIA team arrested a man, blacklisted by the agency, who was trying to flee to Masqat from the Sialkot Airport.
Abdul Manan of Sattrah was deported from Greece for not having legal visa documents and was blacklisted by the FIA. On Wednesday, Abdul Manan reached at the Sialkot Airport to leave for Masqat but an FIA team arrested him.
2 DACOITS HELD AFTER ENCOUNTER: Police on Wednesday arrested two alleged dacoits after an encounter at Jandial Baghwala Kaler Abadi.
Three alleged dacoits snatched a car from a citizen at Jamke Chattha, Daska, and tried to flee. After getting information about the dacoits, the police set up a check-post at Jandiala to arrest the dacoits. On seeing the police, the dacoits allegedly opened fire at the police, which was retaliated. Later, the police arrested two alleged dacoits, later identified as Shoaib and Shahid, while third alleged dacoit Liaqat succeeded to escape.
