Cop injured in road mishap

PESHAWAR: A police constable sustained injuries when the vehicle of the station house officer of Sarband Police Station met a road accident while chasing suspects, officials said.

Initial reports said the station house officer and a constable were wounded.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Hayatabad Hassan Afzal, however, said one constable sustained minor injuries in the accident.
