Dacoit killed in encounter

KASUR: A dacoit was killed in an alleged encounter with Sheikhum police here on Saturday night.
Police had arrested accused Hafeez alias Feeja in a case. Police along with the dacoit were going to arrest his accomplices when some accused opened fire on them. Police also retaliated. As a result, Hafeez was killed on the spot while the attackers fled. According to the DPO, the killed dacoit was involved in 15 cases.
