ISLAMABAD: The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, has said the Pakistan Army is the best in the world and morale of the troops is sky high.
According to tweets of Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa, the Bahawalpur Corps Exercise ended on Friday morning in the desert and the COAS moved to the training area of Multan Corps where large-scale offensive and defensive manoeuvres are underway.
The COAS commended the combat fitness of the troops and said we have to remain ready for full spectrum of threat. He said: “With our current achievements in the ongoing war on terror and standard of conventional war strategy, ours is the best army”.
General Raheel also had an aerial view of offensive manoeuvres on board a combat attack helicopter of the Army Aviation.
