Woman abducted, married to another man

OKARA: A woman was abducted and married to another man without obtaining divorce from her first husband.
Salma Mumtaz was married to Zakir Hussain of Chak 27/D in 2010. The couple had a son from the wedlock. Rai Gulzar, Abdul Qayyum, Ghulam Ali and Muhammad Rashid allegedly abducted Salma on January 25, 2014, and changed her name as Parveen Bibi. The accused arranged her second marriage with Bashir Ahmad without getting divorce from her first husband Zakir Hussain. Sadr police have registered a case.
Accused granted bail in case of hoisting Indian flag

OKARA: Additional Sessions Judge Asadullah Siraj on Friday granted bail to an accused in a case of hoisting Indian flag on his house.
Police had arrested Umer Daraz of Chak 54/2-L for allegedly hoisting the Indian flag on his house on January 25.
