Missing child found dead

OKARA: A missing child was found dead here. Eight-year-old Kashif of Ladhewal had gone missing on Wednesday. The next day, police found his body in a field near the village. Depalpur Sadr police have registered a case and started investigation.
FOUR COPS BOOKED: Renala Khurd City police have registered a case against four policemen after two cattle-lifter brothers escaped from a lockup.
Those booked are SHO Kalb-e-Abbas, Moharrar Azhar Iqbal, Naib Moharrar Siraj Din and Constable Zafar Iqbal.
Police had arrested two brothers Amjad and Shaukat of Chah Malhianwala, near Manga Mandi, and detained them in the lockup on Wednesday night. During the night, the accused escaped from the lockup.
