Spokesman says Zehri went to Dubai on his own expenses
ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri burned the candle at both ends when he reached Dubai to see final match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on an official plane. Many other parliamentarians and officials were also with him on the plane.
Sources told The News on the condition of anonymity that Sanaullah Zehri had enjoyed the final match of PSL in Dubai on government expenses and he went to Dubai with his near and dear one through eight- seat official plane.
The final match was played on February 23, 2016. When The News contacted spokesperson for the Balochistan government, he replied that the chief minister never used official plane and he went there at his own expenses on a general flight.
The spokesperson said if the chief minister visited Dubai to see the PSL final at a time when Balochistan is burning with terrorism, kidnapping and target killing for conveying a good message, there is nothing bad in it.
The spokesperson said there is nothing wrong if the chief minister spent Rs5 million for the better and positive image of Balochistan. Provincial Minister for S&JD Nawab Muhammad Khan Shawani confirmed that the chief minister's plane safely came back.
