QUETTA: One security personnel was killed and five others were injured in a bomb blast in the Sibi district of Balochistan. The bomb exploded at the Harnae Phatak in Sibi near a vehicle of security forces.
District Police Officer (DPO) Anwar Khateran confirmed the death of security personnel. He said the four injured security personnel had been shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), where they were being treated. According to the DPO, two injured are in critical condition, adding that the verification had not been made yet regarding the material which was used in the blast. No one has claimed responsibility for the blast, he added.
Meanwhile, two men were killed and four women injured when their car overturned in the Sorab district on Thursday night.Police said that a car was on its way from Panjgur to Quetta when it overturned in the Sorab area on the National Highway after the driver lost control. Resultantly, two men died on the spot and four women received injuries.
