From the badminton court to the modelling ramp, Arslan Khan’s journey has been an interesting one. He has remained three times National Junior Champion and represented Pakistan in Malaysia for the Badminton World Championship in 2010 and many other internationals competitions. He then entered into the world of modelling in 2012 with his first shoot with Ashna Khan, who helped him getting noticed. He has worked for various brands and designers including Amir Adnan, Crossroads Shoe Planet, Hush Puppies, Leisure Club, Bareeze Man, Sapphire Man, ChenOne, Zeitgeist, Outfitters, Denizen Levis, Charcoal, Bonanza, Bandana, Ittehad Textiles, Nishat Linen, Forestblu, Afsaneh, Telenor, Phonepay, Hush Puppies, Master paints, Warid, 7up etc.
The young lad decided to delve into acting and decided to start with theatre before jumping into the world of TV. He has worked with names like Sania Saeed, Shahid Shafaat and Sunil Shankar who trained and helped him hone his acting skills. Later, he moved to Karachi and worked under the mentorship of Zia Moheyddin, Khalid Ahmed etc. With serials like ‘Ab Kya Hoga’, ‘Muthi Bar Chahat’ and ‘Rang Mahal’ he showcased his acting skills. However it was with his portrayal of a negative role in serial ‘Nalaiq’, he managed to take everyone by surprise. Arslan is all set to take things forward with his determination and hard work. Life is about moments and love is my mom.
How do you unwind?
I love spending time with my mother.
How do you deal with tough times?
I believe the most important relationship that actually helps you during your tough times is the one with yourself. If you are content in solitude, there’s nothing you can’t face.

Showbiz is unpredictable and you need luck to succeed in this profession.
Anything you remember from the years you spent schooling?
The hands-up punishment they used to do back in school. Hated that.

I can speak in a woman’s voice and you won’t recognise it.
How do you kill time when shooting for long hours?
I annoy people by taking pictures on Snapchat using the funniest filters. And I absolutely love it. Haha!
How do you react when you feel angry?
With silence.

I’d like to go to Switzerland.
Three things that you don’t step out of home without?
Wallet, phone, myself.
Are you a party person or do you prefer staying at home?
I am an introvert. I hardly party and that too with very selective people.

I’d prefer love marriage.

I’d like to change my voice.

If you get a second chance to relive your life, what would you prefer to be?
I would probably do the same thing. But this time I would start way earlier.
