What is your everyday makeup look?
No makeup look.
When stepping out, do you wear makeup all the time?
Not all the time. I always want to step out nicely but my skin doesn’t need much makeup and I end up using sunscreen, mostly.
Do you use sunblocks or any serums on shoots?
Yes, I use sunscreen. I don’t have a specific brand because I feel all sunscreens have the same formula and same purpose.
Your favourite perfume:
Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Desire.
What are your favourite brands in lipsticks?
I’m not that brand conscious; it depends on the colour and quality of product.
Do you use lighter tones of foundations or warm tones?
I use ivory because I have a fair complexion.
After coming back from shoots, how do you remove the makeup and cleanse your skin?
I have been using Pears soap to wash my face since forever, no face wash. It suits my skin and cleanses it flawlessly.
Any tips for school and university going girls to deal with summers?
Use sunscreen daily, it will keep your skin protected and that product alone is enough to use.
Hair gets damaged after straightening and blow drying. How do you manage?
I don’t wash my hair without oiling and I use hair mask sometimes. Heat protectants are also good, I really like the ones by L’Oreal.
And what do you do to keep your hair healthy?
Not much. I do oiling and use homemade hair mask sometimes like hair mask of yogurt, mustard oil and egg.
What is your take on natural makeup or zero makeup?
My preference is zero makeup.
Advice for women who can’t buy expensive brands but still want to look good:
Use sunscreen and take care of your skin. Medora products are not a major drain on the pockets and suitably good to use.
One thing you can’t give up that keeps you healthy and fit?
I love to take care of my health. I eat healthy food like fruits. I’m thinking to join the gym as soon as possible to get more active.
What is one cosmetic you cannot do without?
Sunscreen.
When it comes to cosmetics, which brand do you usually use?
I’m not that brand conscious.
What’s in your beauty bag?
L’Oreal True Match base, face powder, blush, natural colour lipstick, gloss and sunblock.
When applying makeup, what do you fear the most?
I’m pretty good at makeup myself so I trust my instincts. I can apply anything perfectly so nothing really scares me.
Do you go to salon regularly for your facials?
No, I take care of it myself. Vegetable mask is enough for my skin.
Your favourite local stylist or beautician:
I’m the best for myself from each and every aspect.
Your favourite international beautician:
Bobbi Brown.
Your go-to place for hair and makeup:
I do it myself and prefer my sister to do my hair. I don’t really trust anybody else for it.
Your beauty regimen:
I cleanse before going to bed, apply Vaseline at night and sunscreen during the day without fail.
Do you use anti-aging creams?
Not yet.
Where do you go for your makeup shopping?
After pandemic, I prefer online options.
Do you use whitening creams?
Nope.
What does beauty mean to you?
Inner beauty is more important. A person should be beautiful from their heart with a positive mindset. No one likes anyone with a bad attitude even if they have a pretty face.
