Model and Vlogger Balach Masood may have a good following on social media but off-screen, he is a just the guy next door. With his good looks, his friends and family encouraged him to take up modelling. He auditioned for a reality show ‘Champion’, hosted by Waqar Zaka, which opened doors for opportunities for him. Photographer Khawar Riaz also noticed his talent and called him for audition, which was followed by a portfolio, after which there was no looking back. He has modelled for big names like Gul Ahmed, Royal Tag, Junaid Jamshaid, Amir Adnan, Kurta Corner, Deepak Perwani and Friction. He has also been featured in TVCs for Velo, Kia motors, Coke studios, to name a few. Upon asking what he thinks is his best work to date, Balach shares, “I have done many commercials, shoots, TV shows but the best work that I have done are my YouTube vlogs. I am my own boss, and I get to be the director, cinematographer, VFX animator, actor and above all a content creator. I have gained more than 300,000 subscribers and millions of views. I capture my experiences for my audience and in the process create memories that allow me to live a fuller life.” Let’s get to know the likes and dislikes of this charming lad…

My parents.
What’s your strength?
My firm faith in God and that everything happens for the best.
Do you think social media is the quickest way to get famous?
Social media can get you lucky but I don’t think that it’s a shortcut.
As an influencer, what do you think your responsibilities are?
We have to be responsible with the messages our content is sending out since people of all ages are watching you, especially the youth and children.

I am possessive everything that’s mine, but mostly my family that I hold close to my heart.

There are many special days that I want to remember, which is why I make vlogs so that the memories won’t fade.

The things that used to bother me, I have already forgotten them.

I am a quick learner.

Well, I have been a fitness freak for as long as I can remember, my father was kickboxer so it’s probably hereditary. I was a national kickboxing champion.
Your fitness regimen:
I exercise twice a day, once at dawn and then late in the evening. I also have a very balanced diet.
If you could be another person who would you be?
A top-notch business entrepreneur like Elon Musk.
Among your friends you’re known as:
The priest.
What’s the biggest misconception about you?
That I have a lot of girlfriends.
