Let’s face it, Karachi can generally be a really boring place for kids who are deprived of amusement parks, water parks etc. All they have are beaches, the small McDonalds play area and a few games and rides that are located within the shopping malls. The water parks in the city are located far away and only families residing near those specific areas can travel to such places with ease. This is why the opening of Chunky Monkey turned out to be a blessing for many parents who were running out of ways to entertain their children. The amusement park first opened up in Defence Phase 7 and was welcomed by children with open arms and delirious squeals.
Luckily things got only better from there and now Chunky Monkey has launched another amusement park at Seaview. The basic concept of this park is to provide quality entertainment not only to children, but also for the whole family including adults. It includes Bumper rides, 7D cinema and many other fun filled rides and games that are located in the basement and on the ground floor. What more? They will also be launching a food court within the premises soon. Now, if this place is so much fun, you must be thinking it would be expensive too. Fret not guys as the entry fees is Rs. 50 for both the children and adults while the tickets for the rides vary.
With such an entertaining theme park being launched, it was no shocker that its launch event was big too. The event organised by Saima Rao, recently took place in Karachi and the grand affair was attended by Wasim Akram, Jahangir Khan, Shoaib Feroz, Younis Khan, Irfan Feroz and many more. The evening was an entertaining and energetic one with Chunky Monkey’s mascots dancing for the guests, accompanied with music and a large crowd. The event ended with a beautiful and impressive firework display that had the crowd roaring with excitement.
