INGREDIENTS
Boneless chicken, julienned 200 gms
Honey mustard sauce 3 tbsp.
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Chilli flakes 1 tsp
White pepper ¼ tsp
Black pepper ¼ tsp
Baking soda a pinch (to tenderise the chicken)
Salt To taste
Honey mustard sauce 2 tbsp
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
METHOD
- Marinate the chicken with the above mentioned ingredients for at least 20 minutes.
- In a pan, heat a tbsp. of oil or butter and sauté the marinated chicken on a medium-low flame until fully cooked. It should be juicy/saucy and not dry.
- Mix together the three ingredients and set aside. This sauce can be drizzled over the chicken or served on the side.
- For assembling: Sautéed chicken, prepared sauce, Pita bread (toasted and cut however you like), vegetables of preference (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, jalapenos, olives etc.).
- Arrange everything on a platter and serve at your next get together, I assure you it’ll be gone in a few minutes.
