Summer season means mango season! And, what else could be best than trying out different recipes with mango as a core ingredient rather than just having it, for a change?
INGREDIENTS
Tea bags 4-5
Boiling Water 3 cups/750 ml
Water 2 cups
Sugar ½ cup or to taste
Lemon juice ¼ cup
Aam (Mango cubes) 3 medium
Ice cubes as required
Aam (Mango) chunks
Lemon slices
METHOD
- In a kettle add tea bags, boiling water, stir well, cover and let it steep for 2-3 minutes.
- Discard the tea bags and reserve black tea for later use.
- In a sauce pan add water, sugar, lemon juice, mango chunks, mix well and bring it to boil.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Blend the mixture with the help of blender.
- With the help of strainer, strain the blended mixture in a bowl.
- Add the strained mango pulp in the prepared black tea and mix well. Keep in refrigerator until use.
- In a serving glass add ice cubes, mango chunks, lemon slices, prepared mango tea and serve!.
