Pakistani pop music scene has changed a lot in the past decade. It is an era where musicians don’t make albums anymore and rely on either singles or collaboration with brands to make music. Also, music contests such as Battle of the Bands or shows like Coke Studio and Nescafe Basement have become ways of promoting individual artists and bands. They make new songs or do covers of the old ones - which are often received well by the public because the original compositions have already a massive impact. However, the trend of music videos is still the same. Numerous artists and performers still release them to get registered among fans or any avid listeners and admirers of music.

Following the same vein, Karachi based rock pop band ‘Kohi’ has recently launched their new music video ‘Tu Hai Kahan’ at The Forest Restaurant in Karachi. The event was organised by Dr. Rana Asif from The House of Rana, amidst lots of celebrities and media.

The event was attended by celebrities such as Arisha Razi, Furqan Qureshi, Rabya Kulsoom, Rehan Nazim, Kanwar Arsalan, Hassan Khan, morning show host Nida Yasir, actor director Yasir Nawaz, Natasha Baig, musician duo Sheraz & Arif, beautician Angie Marshall, fashion designer Abdul Samad, supermodel Rabab Masood and the pioneer broadcaster of FM radio in Pakistan Ajmal Shobi.

Kohi is a Pakistani pop rock duo formed by Adeel (vocals) and Adil (vocals & guitars). They have already released a single ‘Azadi’ and also did a cover of Strings famous ‘Sar Kiyeh Hain Pahaar’. All their songs including ‘Tu Hi Kahan’ are available on Soundcloud.

The video of ‘Tu Hai Kahan’ is produced by Kohi, directed by Qais Quraishi, assisted by Arsalan Ahmed, photographed by Ghayas Uddin Siddiqui (DOP) and Tajammul Ghauri, edited by Junaid Khan, visual effects worked by Qbaloch QB (Dark Street), art directed by Mallik Matti, styled by Azam Shah with the production team of Q-Films, and Lights & Equipment from Xpose Films. The video has been shot at Commune Artist Colony.

The audio of the song is produced by Kohi (Singer: Adeel Bashir Baloch and Adil Iqbal), composed by Adeel Bashir Baloch, recorded at Neon Studio, mastered by Sherry Khattak, with bass by Omair Farooq and drums by Bilawal Lahooti.
