Real-life couple as well as actors in the Pakistani television/film industry, Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor coming together for the first time in a project since getting married four years ago is old news. What’s new is that their look from the said drama serial, Meherposh has been unveiled. Meherposh, according to co-producer Abdullah Kadwani, is an upcoming project that will soon hit TV screens on Geo Entertainment.
The first teaser of the drama recently came out, leaving viewers drawn to the couple’s on screen chemistry.
Featuring Ayeza and Danish in a romantic sequence, the teaser is vibrant. A clean-shaven Danish is flying kites with his friends on a rooftop when Ayeza makes a visit next door. Clad in a simple, desi attire, she looks beautiful as she roams around her rooftop. As Danish comes around her, there is a dance sequence.
By the looks of it, Meherposh is going to be a love story but there will definitely be more to it than what lies beyond the predictable.
The drama is directed by Mazhar Moin while it is produced by Asad Qureshi and Abdullah Kadwani under their banner 7th Sky Entertainment.
Ayeza and Danish have earlier shared the screen in several drama serials including Saari Bhool Hamari Thi, Shareek e Hayat, Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain as well as a telefilm called Jab We Wed. Currently, Danish is playing the protagonist in Deewangi while Ayeza is essaying the lead role in Thora Sa Haq opposite Imran Abbas.
