The journey for model-turned-actress, Hina Ashfaque, began in 2013 when her cousin became a photographer. “I was the first victim of my cousin’s insane photography. She kept doing trial shoots of me but we eventually ended up making a really good portfolio. Few months later, I had my portfolio on the website ‘Flickr’. I felt so lucky when I was getting noticed and received a lot of likes,” she shares. In 2014, Hina was the top seventh contestant on Miss Veet Pakistan. Later, she registered herself with a talent hunt company which officially kicked off her showbiz career.
Hina has appeared in a plethora of ads, starting off with an ad of ‘Hub Leather’ and went on to appear for renowned brands like Service Shoes, Jazz, Voice Mobile, Hush Puppies, Haire, Shoe Planet, L’Oreal, Garnier, Eco Star , Nishat Linen, Gul Ahmed, Tabbusm Mughal, Abbot, Yellow and Beech Tree to name a few. Moreover, she has been featured on the covers of top-notch fashion and lifestyle magazines along with music videos with Sariab Sultan and Raafay Israr.
Stepping into the world of acting, she made her debut with drama serial ‘Munkir’ followed by telefilms ‘SHO Bhatti’ and a guest appearance in Rafay Rashdi’s movie ‘Thora Jee Lay’. Hina is now looking forward to her upcoming serial ‘Alif’ in which she will be seen alongside famed actors Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahsan Khan and Sajal Aly.
