Jostling crowds, mile-long lines, lip-smacking snacks and the constant struggle to pick which act to attend. The vicious scuffles to see or get anywhere near the stage, and the imminent risk of losing your voice from trying to talk to your friends above the roaring chaos around you. Feeling overwhelmed yet? You’re not alone. Music and food festivals are the ultimate winter events in Pakistan. They are something that people swarm to for a chance to see their favourite artists and dance the day away with friends while binging on some oh-so-ahmazing food. Festivals like Karachi/ Lahore Eat, Karachi Street Food Festival and Coke Fest (Karachi & Lahore) attract thousands upon thousands of attendees over the past several years, and as a result, have become known for their massive crowds and non-stop entertainment. This year too, another edition of Coke Fest Lahore came up with some exciting activities, music and of course food!

The three-day festival held at Lake City Lahore, recently, attracted visitors over 100,000 from all corners of the city and provided families with an opportunity to plan a perfect day out and sample the city’s culinary delights. Attendees witnessed chefs working their magic through cooking demonstrations and enjoyed live music. The Coca-Cola Food and Music Festival offered a variety of cuisines with flavours and delicacies to cater to a wide array of audience. It offered a diverse panel of culinary talents along with several home based chefs.

The festival prides itself in being the platform for the promotion of solopreneurs and providing a boost to the home-based food market. Also, it promises to offer all the season’s freshest flavours extending from a diversity of desi to continental, Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Thai), Turkish/Lebanese and Italian.

CEO at Activemedia (the organiser), Saad M. Khan said; “Season 1 of the festival saw the biggest celebration of Pakistani culture with more than 250,000 people enjoying the festival with their loved ones. Season 2 is going to be bigger than ever, expanding to five cities with 7 events altogether. We are extremely excited and looking forward to welcome our guests to provide world-class entertainment through quality music and food for everyone.”

After the successful completion of #CokeFest Lahore, the festival will now go to Faisalabad to share the love of food and music with the city.
