It’s important to add fish to your diet as it is rich with many essential nutrients, including high-quality protein, iodine, various vitamins and minerals. I N G R E D I E N T S

Small fish 300 gms

Salt (to sprinkle) 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1 tsp

Olive oil 2 tbs

Onion 1 large

Ginger (chopped) 1 tbs

Garlic (chopped) 1 tbs

Tomato paste 2 tbs

Carrot 1 medium

Cabbage 1 Cup

Salt 1/2 tsp or to taste

Black pepper (crushed) 1 & 1/2 tsp or to taste

Water 5-6 Cups or as required

Green onion 1/4 Cup

M E T H O D

Clean and remove center bone of the fish.

Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder over fish, mix well and set aside for 30 minutes then wash with tap water.

In a pot, add olive oil, onion and fry until translucent.

Add ginger, garlic and mix well.

Add tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Add carrots, cabbage, salt, and crushed black pepper. Mix well.

Add washed fish and mix well.

Add water, mix well and bring it to boil, cover and cook on low flame for approx 1 hour.

Add green onion, mix and serve.
