Asymmetrical statement:

Cuts are of utmost importance. Choosing the right cut and silhouette can do wonders. To add a contemporary edge to your outfit, consider decking yourself up in asymmetrical items of clothing, as they are an increasingly popular design option. If you are looking for an on-trend party piece then asymmetrical cut is the way to go. They are the perfect addition for your wardrobe this party season.

It’s high, it’s low:

High-low cut, also known as waterfall, or mullet cut, have a hem that is higher in the front than in the back. The high-low shirt has a full circle hem. The style originates in Victorian era dresses and formal gowns, when the hem style became known as the ‘fishtail’. If you are not willing to go for a circle hemline, you can also go for a straight cut shirt that has a short front and long back with side slits.

Button it down:

Fashion’s current penchant for shirting brings the classic shirt dress back to the forefront. A shirt dress, also known as a button down shirt, gives a sleek and chic look; whilst its clean lines provide an ideal canvas for this season’s bold and vibrant colour palette. However, make sure that if you are short heighted then a full length shirt dress will not look flattering on you.

Trendy tunics:

Tunics are versatile, making them a fabulous option. These days, ponchos and one shoulder tunics are quite in vogue. The best thing about a stylish tunic is that it is easy to wear & pair. Keep in mind that the fit is meant to be loose, not snug, and the fabric should not be too heavy. A tunic should billow and flow, not cling to the body. They go well paired with straight trousers or a boot-cut pant.

Go straight:

Straight cuts are the classiest of them all. You can opt for a short, long or knee length shirt and you are good to go. A shirt with a straight silhouette looks quite flattering whether you are skinny or on the chubby side.

Layer up:

We have been witnessing it on fashion runways for quite some time now. Yes, capes and coats are chic pieces that can do wonders for the simplest of wardrobes, transforming a casual look into an altogether high-fashion outfit in seconds. Either you go for a cape or a coat; it is perfect to add that extra finish to your look. From silk to organza coats and from snake cut embroidered coats to chiffon embroidered asymmetric capes; they have certainly become one of the coolest cover ups for all fashionistas.

A fashion designer plays a key role in establishing the fashion statement and the fact is that an elegant designer ‘jora’ can boost up your confidence level and poise in any party or event.
