I N G R E D I E N T S

  • Channa daal (boiled & blended with milk)   1/2 cup
  • Suji (cooked in milk) 1/2 cup
  • Ghee  1 cup
  • Cardamom     4-5
  • Sugar 1 1/2 cup
  • Milk    1 cup
  • Saffron         a pinch

I N G R E D I E N T S

  • Start by heating ghee and put in cardamom
  • Now add channa mixture and start cooking
  • Add suji after cooking for 15 minutes and add in sugar and saffron
  • When the halwa becomes thick and starts giving off an aroma, stop cooking and spread it on a plate till it cools down.
  • Cut halwa into squares and sprinkle it with nuts
  • Your delicious sweet delight is ready to be served
