However, a store that has managed to create an interesting interior is flagship store of Dolce Vita Home (DVH), situated in DHA, Lahore.

Run by the couple Mudasaar Shafi and Anam Shafi, the design of the store inspires to reflect a wide range of tastes and styles of the duo. The five storied outlet is all about the fusion of modern with traditional design, with each floor having a cosmopolitan appeal to it. The stainless steel staircase connects one floor to the other. The overall aesthetics are clean, fuss free and inviting. It also enables one to observe myriad interior ideas while giving the freedom to open up to exciting home décor options.

The entire store has been divided into portions. Walls are covered with wallpapers and tiles that reflect the style of furniture of each section. The softer, muted shades have been used repeatedly throughout the space making it look large and airy. But what sets this store apart are other characteristics like the cubic glass wall that ups the glamour quotient. “We have in a way ‘dressed’ the furniture store to make it as a one-stop solution. Apart from furniture we offer decorative accessories, art work, household textiles and tapestry,” says Anam Shafi.

Another aspect of the store is the unique use of lighting fixtures and glittering hanging chandeliers that make the space look exquisite and create a great experience for the buyer. Large glass walls divide the strategically placed items from one another. The art nouveau influence is apparent throughout the store and the specifically handpicked pieces give an eclectic look to the space. Not only that, the outlet also offers a range of ornate furniture, an interesting mattress range, contemporary tables, upholstered furniture as well as boxes.

Regarding the type of furniture displayed in the store, Anam Shafi shares, “All of our designs are from our international partners while the raw materials are imported. ‘Restoration Living’ luxury furniture pieces are either developed internationally and imported or are produced locally in our state of the art facility. Our lamps and accessories collection is imported as well. Basically, we wanted a place filled with independent labels crafted from the finest materials and other distinctive interior stuff that any customer would cherish and love to have.”

The place also offers customer service. The staff there is courteous and is more than eager to tend to the clients with the required information. The store has become popular in the city in a short span of time and has become the go-to boutique for the prospective customers who are in search of quality, elegance and comfort as well as something trendy.

From our design partnership across America, Canada and Europe through the DVH Global Design Collaborator where we have achieved world class product designs and sourcing to our consultants who have helped us establish our international production partnerships. We are truly proud to be a luxury brand on par with global standards. We are happy to say that even consortium’s in UAE have approached us to set up DVH in Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” states Anam.

With the duo’s deep involvement in the project, the store bears the look of a home store magazine with everything under one roof and a place people would go to discover new ideas, new styles and new designs. The store is definitely a place to check out because of its inspiring interior and of course the amazing range of furnishings that they offer.
