Recently, Karachiites enjoyed a glamorous evening with a number of celebrities in attendance including Sajal Aly, Urwa Hocane, Kinza Hashmi, Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz and Dananeer Mobeen. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and the icing on the cake was a mesmerising musical concert by Aima Baig, making the ‘Vogue Night’ even more unforgettable.
Well known for her trendy and edgy fashion sense, Aima was rocking the stage with her thrilling performances. The concert not only showcased Baig’s vocal brilliance but also highlighted her dynamic presence as an artist. Aima rose to fame from her songs in ‘Lahore Se Aagey’ after which she gained popularity through many other soundtracks and her appearance in Coke Studio. Grown up singing both eastern and western melodies, Aima was successful in engaging the crowd with her solid yet adaptable vocals.
Another plus point of the evening was a fashion show where stylish models flaunted white attires on the ramp, especially created for the occasion which was the launching ceremony of the Canon 30 Series by Tecno. “At the mobile launch ceremony in Karachi, designing a white wardrobe for all the male and female models was quite challenging for me. However, it was appreciated by the audience and the fashion fraternity. Am glad that I was able to deliver a decent line of clothes,” said designer, Obaid Sheikh, who created the dresses.
