Us: What is something you learned early in your career which helped you become a better person?
MR: You need to stand out and focus on your goals, so do not follow the trends and try to be a trendsetter instead.
Us: What is the most challenging thing about this career?
MR: Reinventing yourself and maintaining versatility.
Us: Did you get any formal training for this career?
MR: No, I learned almost everything from my observation and experiences.
Us: Who are some of your role model actors and actresses, and what do you like about their work?
MR: Shahid Kapoor and Mahira Khan. The way they love their work and execute it to perfection, it’s phenomenal.
Us: From all your projects so far, which was the most meaningful to you, and why?
MR: I can’t pick one. There have been many, and the journey continues unabated. I make sure that whatever I do takes my career a step further.
Us: Do you believe good looks and connections are the only things that make a star?
MR: Mostly yes, but you need talent as well because otherwise the audience will not appreciate you.
Us: How has social media changed things for you?
MR: I am more confident in dealing with people and connecting with them socially.

MR: I have an amazing social circle of friends. I compare notes with them and then follow my gut.
