Young and talented, Nimra Mehra has been active as a musician since the past six years. She is truly a star in the making and is known for hits like ‘Tu Subhu Di Pak Hawa Warga’; ‘Zehar’, ‘Yaar Mod Dey’ and others. For Nimra music is her passion, “It’s all I ever wanted to do,” shares Nimra. Her song ‘Tu Subhu Di Pak Hawa Warga’ went viral on YouTube in 2023 and broke the records of popularity. According to statistics, more than 11 million people have viewed the video. Nimra also sang many OSTs for famous television dramas.
Hailing from Lahore, this Punjabi songstress has been recently appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for Women’s Empowerment by the International Human Rights Commission; Nimra’s impact extends beyond her amazing music. It was in Islamabad; a fan came up to the stage and gave me more than 20 flowers.

It feels great. I am honoured. It’s really inspiring.
How important do you think such initiatives are for women artists of our country?
Initiatives like Spotify’s Equal programme promotes women empowerment and puts Pakistani female talents to a global audience.

The song ‘Je Pata Hunda’ is based on a true story that describes the regret of falling in love with the wrong ones in your life.
