Raima Khan is a versatile TV actor. She started her career in acting in 2009 and since then has done several serials, soaps and telefilms including ‘Jhoomer’, ‘Mohabbat Humsafar Meri’, ‘Noori’, ‘Zun Mureed’, ‘Baby ‘and ‘Roag’. According to Raima, she is a self-made actor and nobody introduced her to showbiz industry. “I was confident of my acting skills. I went for an audition and was selected. It was an honour for me to get work on my own,” she shares. These days Raima is appearing in a popular drama serial ‘Kabuli Pulao’ where she is performing as ‘Chammo’. Kabuli Pulao, directed by Kashif Nisar.
What do you usually wear in daily life?
I love kurtas but I wear western dresses too.
What are your favourite international labels?
All popular retailer brands such as Zara, Mango and H&M. These brands are stylish as well as affordable.
What is one cosmetic you cannot do without?
Mascara.
Your most valuable possession?
My time.

Indeed, I am (smiles).
What is your favourite thing in your closet right now?
My jewellery.
What is the best/worst purchase you’ve ever made?
The best purchase would be my car and the worst purchase would be trousers that I ordered through an online website.

I eat a lot! (Ha ha).
What is your biggest fear?
Losing my family.

When I’m not working, I can’t sit idle.

Any restaurant that maintains hygiene.

I am highly punctual about my routine. Also, I am a fitness freak and try to eat as healthy as I can.

I would like to meet to my (late) father and spend more time with him.

No relationship is ever a waste of time. If it didn’t bring what you want, it taught you what you shouldn’t want.
If you weren't an actor, what would you be?
I believe I would still be an actor. Acting is my passion.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Although it is hard to predict the future, I sincerely believe that I will become a more polished performer. I believe that my abilities will allow me to excel to the point that I can seek other opportunities as a movie actress and possibly even higher than this.
