Blessed with sharp features and good height, Hamza Abbasi is an upcoming model. Hamza has been in the entertainment industry since six years. He was introduced in the showbiz world by a friend who is a makeup artist. He motivated Hamza to give modelling a shot. Initially, he started modelling as a hobby but over the years, encouraged and supported by his family and friends, he decided to pursue modelling as a profession. Hamza has tried acting too and has also done a few theatre dramas, sitcoms and short films. However, he is still waiting for his major break that may establish his name as an actor too. “These days I am working on my fitness, along with brands that are coming my way now and then,” says Hamza, who is a graduate in International Relations from Karachi University. What do you usually wear in daily life?
Jeans and t-shirt or shorts.
What are your favourite things in your closet right now?
Watches, glasses and perfumes. I find myself incomplete without these things.

My father’s watch which was gifted by his father to him and he has gifted it to me. It’s very precious to me.
What is the best purchase you’ve ever made?
The best purchase is my iPhone 14 Pro Max, for which I had been saving since quite long.
And what is your worst buy?
My last car which used to be at the mechanic’s shop most of the time.
You are afraid of...
Heights.
What bores you the most?
Well, I don’t enjoy large gatherings, I feel kind of lost. I cherish one-on-one conversations.
You are crazy about…
Fitness. I am a fitness freak (smiles).
What is your fitness regimen?
I strictly follow my diet. I stay away from carbs and fats.

Leg workout.
What are your favourite restaurants?
Cafeela and Xander’s, but I am a firm believer in mindful eating.

‘Riddick’ (all parts) and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series.

Whenever I’m able to help someone, it gives me true inner happiness.

Angelina Jolie. I am a die-hard fan.

When someone cries in front of me. I cannot stand tears, especially if they are of a beautiful woman (chuckles).

Being a model, pictures are taken every single day (grins).

PKR 5000 for a fashion shoot.
If given a role in films, would you like to do that?
Who wouldn’t want to do a film, but, it depends upon the script and the role I am offered.
How do you like to spend your Sundays?
Playing cricket.

How do you unwind?
By drinking Kahwah (without sugar) and then off to bed.
If you had access to a time machine, which era would you visit?
The ’90s.

To let go and see if it returns back to you, if not, then that relationship was never meant to be yours.
What advice would you like to give to aspiring models?
My advice is to do some research and try to find the best agency which can help you promote your career. Just remember that there are no shortcuts in life.
