Upcoming model Ghulam Nabi is fast making his place in the fashion industry. Under the mentorship of ace photographer Khawar Riaz, he is making sure that every other day in his career is a step forward. He is confident that his dedication and determination will make him meet his targets. Apart from modelling, Nabi also wants to act, but before that, he aims to professionally learn the aesthetics of becoming a good actor from some institute of repute.

Us: What does success mean to you?

Ghulam Nabi: Success, for me, is attaining my goals and dreams.

Us: What is something you learned early on in your career which helped you become a better model?

GN: Fitness is the key to climbing the ladder of success.

Us: What is the most challenging thing about this career?

GN: Carving my own niche amongst my contemporaries.

Us: Who are your role models?

GN: David Grandy and Sachal Afzal.

Us: From all your projects so far, which was the most meaningful to you?

GN: My shoots for Ismail Farid and Farah Talib Aziz.

Us: Do you believe good looks and connections are the only things that make a star?

GN: Both elements matter equally and make the journey fast if professionally mapped.

Us: How has social media changed things for you?

GN: Social media is a new wave that is taking the world by storm. Now a model can be easily accessed directly without any coordinators and that makes this easy and fast.

Us: How do you deal with self-doubt?

GN: At that time, I just think of delivering my best.

Us: Please share three pieces of advice for aspiring actors.

GN: Stay fit, be confident, take a good diet, respect seniors, and stay focused.
