US TALK

Rising actor Masab Fazal Misri – who has a bachelor’s in finance from CBM – started his career as a model in 2018 when, upon much convincing by his close buddies, he got himself registered with talent agencies and soon found himself doing TV commercials. After developing his confidence and making his mark, he managed to grow his skill set in order to be able to emerge as the industry’s next big thespian. This urge led him to the auditions of MD Productions where ace director Ahsan Talish selected him for the role of Hassaan in his magnum opus serial Yeh Dil Mera starring Sajal Ali and Ahad Raza Mir.

In his next serial, Dil Ruba, starring Hania Aamir and Jibran, he played the role of the shrewd Sunny. He showcased enviable versatility through the negative character of Jawad in Habs, starring Feroze Khan and Ushna Shah, followed by his portrayal of the romantic Farhad in the serial Bichoo. In Geo’s Daraar and the web-series Sciencedaan, he essayed two diverse roles meticulously, while his short film Mashaadi – the story of women who show courage and raise their voices against abuse and violence, with superstar Mahira Khan playing the lead – brought him critical acclaim and dollops of praise.
