Muneeb ButtStarting off his modeling career a couple of years ago, Muneeb Butt displayed a confidence and boyish charm that made him the choice of many major brands. In a short span of time he found himself doing commercials of multinationals like Warid, Nestle, Ufone, Sprite, Abbot, Djuice, Pizza Hut, Hiaer, Voice Mobile, Colgate etc. Alongside his modelling career, Muneeb continued his studies and completed his BS  in media sciences and dedicates the success of his showbiz career to his mentor Saeed Shah who got him the right projects. Surely, with his chiseled, clean cut good looks and abundant acting abilities, Muneeb has plenty of ammo to attain what he intends to.

In 2012, Muneeb marked his acting debut with serial ‘Baandi’ and later delivered phenomenal  performances in other serials like ‘Rishton Ki Dor’, ‘Ek Thee Missal’, ‘Tum Yaad Aye’, ‘Bay Qasoor’ etc. which racked up him a considerable fan following and became a reason of his foray into big screen with film ‘Hulla Gulla’. His upcoming serial ‘Khawab Sirraye’ is  ready to get on air while his second film ‘Ishq 2020’ is going to be another  milestone in his career.  Also, a hard core fitness freak, Muneeb maintains a strict regimen of healthy diet followed by an intense workout to remain fit. Let’s take a look at his likes and dislikes.

My biggest assets:

Acting skills

I wish I could:

Involve myself in social work for the betterment of our society

One person I would love to dine out with:

Malik Riaz. The story of his struggle and success is quite inspiring

My worst nightmare:

Singing on stage in front of a huge crowd

My definition of love is:

Giving everything without expecting anything in return

One thing I hate about myself:

Being lazy. I haven’t yet met any one who supersedes my level of laziness. I literally set six alarms to wake up on time but that hardly works. It causes me irrecoverable losses but besides trying my level best, I have not yet been able to change

Something I would like to forget:

There is nothing in my life that I would want to forget as with the blessings of Almighty, luck has been kind to me

Something I would like to remember:

Good times and all the happy moments. Especially when I was offered my first lead role

My strength:

My faith in Almighty God

I regret:

Not being able to give attention to my second thesis during my BS in Media Sciences due to showbiz engagements and commitmentsMuneeb Butt

I feel over the cloud nine when:

When I am being appreciated for my work. Also there couldn’t be anything bigger than having my mother blushing with pride my fans approach me whenever I am with her

I get dejected when:

People’s indifference and lack of support bothers me. It’s awful when your talent is being doubted and your success is considered to be a reward of some connections.

Something that I am strongly possessive about:

My family and friends

I get turned on by:

A good smile, intelligence and good sense of humour

When feeling low I prefer:

Company of my childhood buddies

The most unforgettable moment of my life was:

My first pay cheque. I remember they were asking me for my bank account while I was insisting them to pay me cash due to the reason of not having one as I was hardly 18. But when they said “Sir, hum barri amount cash mein pay nahi kartay”, then I was like “wow”!!

Something I like about myself:

I have this amazing potential to recover on my own when I am down or low and that is what I feel my real strength is.

If I could be another person I would like to be:

I would like to be a police officer.

What bores me the most:

Sitting amongst people who have a bad sense of humor.

My message:

I have observed a strange thing in our society where people want to become what they cannot be. For instance when they come across a good painting, instead of appreciating it or buying it, they want to become a painter and similarly when they watch an actor doing well in a role then they wish to become an actor. Instead of exploring their own talent and discovering who they really are, they squander a large chunk of time in becoming what they are not capable of. So my message to all of them is to be yourself and believe in your own talent.
