INGREDIENTS
Soy sauce 4 tbsp.
Sesame oil 3 tbsp.
Brown sugar (powdered) 2 tsp
Sesame seeds (roasted) 1 tbsp.
Garlic (crushed) ½ tbsp.
Beef steak undercut 250g
Salt ¼ tsp or to taste
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Cooking oil 1-2 tbsp.
Spinach 100g
Mushrooms (sliced) ½ cup
Carrots (julienne) 1 cup
Onion (sliced) 1 medium
Orange bell pepper (julienne) 1 medium
Yellow bell pepper (julienne) 1 medium
Noodles (boiled) 250g
Spring onion leaves ½ cup
DIRECTIONS
* In a bowl, add soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, sesame seeds, and garlic, mix well and set aside.
* Cut beef steak into strips.
* In a bowl, add beef strips, 2 tbsp. of prepared sauce (reserve remaining for later use), salt, black pepper powder and mix well, cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
* In a wok, add cooking oil, marinated beef, mix well and cook until tender (8-10 minutes) and set aside.
* In the same wok, add spinach and sauté until spinach is wilted (1-2 minutes) and set aside.
* In a wok, add cooking oil, mushrooms and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
* Add carrots, mix well and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
* Add onion and mix well.
* Add orange bell pepper, yellow bell pepper and mix well.
* Add salt, black pepper powder, mix well and sauté for a minute.
* Add beef strips, wilted spinach and mix well.
* Add noodles, reserved sauce and mix well.
* Add spring onion leaves and give it a good mix.
* Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve!
