1. My little daughter brought so much joy which is beyond words.
2. Biggest challenge of my life this year - to keep a balance between motherhood, home and work.

4. Self-love is very important. You fall in depression if you don’t love yourself. Lesson learnt: You need to love yourself to love everything else.
5. Hands down ‘Calm Down’ by Rema.
6. Never been a book worm. The only books I touched in 2022 were A, B, C, for my daughter.
7. ‘Emily in Paris’ (Season 2). Can’t wait for Season 3.
8. Loving yourself is going to be my mantra for 2023.
1. It was a sheer joy for me when things seemed a lot better after Covid-19 and we stopped wearing masks.
2. To find and lock the release date for ‘Yaara Vey’.
3. Managed to release ‘Yaara Vey’ finally and be appreciated for my work.
4. Life is full of experiences and we learn from our experiences. Also, there is no space for negativity in my life.
5. I have just been listening to all the tracks from ‘Yaara Vey’ and favourite is In rahon ko jaane na jaane tu.
6. ‘Ikigai’ and ‘Surrounded by Idiots’.
7. Hands down to ‘Suits’.
8. I have decided to go back to my piano lessons in 2023, in order to soothe my nerves. I have also decided to spend more time with family and friends.
1. When I got the award for the best emerging brand of the year.
2. Choosing the right script to act has always been a challenge for me and remained a challenge in 2022 too.
3. Launching my fragrances, worked really hard to understand the perfume business and developed the first batch of 5 perfumes for men and women and I am really proud of what we have come up with.
4. Be consistent and never give up.
5. Every one’s favourite - ‘Pasoori’.
6. I didn’t read any books but yes I read at least 10 scripts which I turned down after reading.
7. ‘Stranger Things’.
8. Be focused on what I really want to do rather than pleasing others. And yes, to help people and friends in need. I think nothing is more satisfying than being there for your friends and family.
1. The day Bilal Maqsood followed me on Instagram; it gave me an unexpected joy as Bilal has been my inspiration.
2. I lost my father in September, coping with my father’s loss has been the biggest challenge this year. It was a challenge for me to accept this reality.
3. The satisfying feeling that I took care of my father when he needed me.
4. Nothing matters more than your own family. It’s useless to run after worldly things.
5. ‘Pasoori’, ‘Peechay Hutt’ and ‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno’ from Encanto.
6. I cannot read books. Give me any task and I will do that but don’t ask me to read a book. I am on-the-go type of person.

8. I want to spend more time with my family. You have to set your priorities. I will work but not at the expense of my own health or peace of mind.
1. My wife was expecting our first child and we did not go for gender reveal. I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. This was the biggest unexpected joy of this year.
2. Things were very slow due to Covid. It was challenging to get work.
3. I figured out how to take care of the baby - one thing I am truly proud of. I learned lots of things hands on. I can change baby’s diapers, I can give shower to baby, I can put baby to sleep like a pro, etc.
4. Biggest lesson I learned that we should not judge people. We shouldn’t be judgemental.

8. I will not be punctual as it gives me mental agony when people don’t show up on time.
1. The feedback we got and are (still) getting on our drama ‘Pinjra’.
2. Like all past years, collecting payments. You might have noticed people don’t like to pay.

4. Good work sometimes goes unnoticed or unrewarding. It’s the appreciation from the viewers that keeps us going

7. My favourite TV shows were ‘The Offer’ on Paramount TV; ‘Super Pumped’ on Roku Channel, Pluto TV; ‘We Crashed’ on Apple TV and ‘Ozark’ (season 4) on Netflix. And my favourite movies of 2022 were: ‘Top Gun: Maverick ‘and ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’.
8. Play tennis 6 days a week, eat better. Only cast and hire people who are professional and committed.
1. Nothing in particular but the whole year was filled with peace and joy and I am grateful for that.
2. My biggest challenge was to avoid junk food on daily basis and start eating healthy, unfortunately, I failed miserably.
3. A benevolent thing I did and am very proud of it, but I don’t want to reveal it here.
4. The biggest lesson I learned this year was to spend time with your parents. No matter how busy one may be, one needs to spend time with family, especially parents.

6. I haven’t read any books this year but I have some in my to-read list.
7. It’s hard to pick one because I watch a lot of movies and series. However, I am really enjoying watching ‘Loki ‘on Disney and ‘Wednesday’ on Netflix.
8. Eat less junk food and sugary things like chocolates and cakes. This is my resolution for 2023.
1. The release of our drama ‘Dushman’. It took us three years to complete it. The shooting took place in Bhawalpur.
2. Challenging year in the sense that I had to face a lot of criticism but I took it in my stride.
3. I am a gym freak. I am so proud of the fact that I completed my gym goals in 2022.
4. Lesson that I learnt in 2022: Even after the darkest night there is day, so never give up.
5. ‘Unholy’, ‘Tera Nasha’ and ‘Pasoori’.
6. I didn’t read any books this year.
7. ‘Suits’, ‘Jamtara’.
8. Don’t justify yourself. Do what makes you feel happy for your own peace of mind.
