MY TEENAGE YEARS

1- What does success mean to you?

For me success is peace of mind and achieving your goals. One should not lose inner peace for anything whatsoever.

2- Something you learned early in your career which helped you become a better actor?

Be patient and don’t listen to everything that people say. You should be more focused and honest with your work.

3- What is the most challenging thing about this career?

You have to deal with judgmental people, and yes unprofessional attitude of other people is also hard to deal with.

4- Who are some of your role model actors/actresses, and what do you like about their work?

I like Shahrukh Khan and Fawad Khan for their versatility, onscreen energy and their dedication.

5- From all your roles so far, which role was the most meaningful to you, and why?

I am utterly grateful for the opportunities and the work I have been a part of, but I believe my best work is yet to come and I have all of my enthusiasm fully reserved for it.

6- Do you believe good looks and connections are the only things that make a star?

It’s the talent that sustains whereas good looks give you a shortcut to get noticed but that’s all it can contribute. Rest of your journey is led by talent, hard work and your sincerity with your work.

7- How has social media changed things for you?

Social media for me is the fastest way to connect with the people, especially my fans. Through my activity on social media, I am able to give updates regarding my work.

8- How do you deal with self-doubt?

By staying true to myself, and looking for a pragmatic solution rather than procrastinating.

10- Three pieces of advice for aspiring actors.

Be passionate.

Be confident.

Be humble.
