It’s been a busy month for singer Atif Aslam. The singer, who took to Facebook to reveal his concert schedule for last month, emphasized on how he plans to travel 75,000 km performing live in six different cities across two continents. One of his recent stops was Chicago and like all of his concerts, this one was no less than stellar.

The Chicago Tribune reports that “the audience welcomed the star with huge applause, waving hands, mobile lights, and loud screams” and that “with his boyish good looks, stylish personality, well-maintained body, and an attitude of a rock star, Atif proved to be a massive draw with the audience”. The report further added that “Atif captured the hearts of his audience by establishing a live contact with them. He took selfies with them and tried to shake hands with as many members of the audience as possible”.

Atif’s concerts always prove to be a memorable treat for music lovers not only because of his power vocals but the sheer level of energy the singer exudes while on stage. The event was also attended by the Consul General of Pakistan, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, who acknowledged the presence of Indian fans amongst the crowd. “The presence of a large number of people from India and Pakistan at the event proves that music, which has no boundaries, can play a powerful role in enriching people-to-people contact and improving bilateral relations between the two countries,” he said.
