Kelly Brianne Clarkson
- Born on 24th April 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.
- Has two elder siblings – brother Jason and sister Alyssa.
- Parents divorced when she was six.
- Performed in musicals at school.
- Early attempts to launch her music career did not pan out.
- Rose to fame after participating in the inaugural season of American Idol in 2002, winning the competition.
