Your favourite role in plays and movies?

I was say that your last role should always be your favourite because you should give your 110 percent to each role.

Your favourite co-stars?

Robert Downey Jr, Jeff Bridges, Colin O’Donaghue and, of course, Ali Tahir.

What is your professional motto?

Face your success with humility and face your troubles with bravery.

Name a person you admire?

My father, Naeem Tahir. He is a force of nature!

What does success mean to you?

Respect in my field.

What is the one thing you look for in your workspace?

Balance.

What is the biggest sacrifice you’ve made in your career?

Leaving my family and moving away.

Name a fear or professional challenge that keeps you up at night?

The self-doubt; did I perform well?

Name the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your profession?

Always be honest with yourself; stay focused; and be humble.

What was the best piece of advice you were given when you were starting out? And by whom?

The success and failure can ruin you in this business so keep your core balanced. My father said that to me.

Knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently when you were first starting out?

I wear all my trials and tribulations as a badge of honour.

Which of your traits are you most proud of?

Fairness and forgiveness.

What is your no-fail go-to when you need inspiration or to get out of a creative rut?

Music.

Any advice to aspiring actors?

Always follow your dream but don’t shy away from the hard work and hardships that it might require.
