If the grapevine brewing within the music industry is to be believed, singer-songwriter Atif Aslam is gearing up to play a significant role in the upcoming edition of Pepsi Battle of the Bands. The reason we’re willing to give some credence to this rumour is because Atif was seen in Lahore recently where he was shooting for a possible commercial alongside Meesha Shafi and Fawad Khan.

The reason we’re willing to give some credence to this rumour is because Atif was seen in Lahore recently where he was shooting for a possible commercial alongside Meesha Shafi and Fawad Khan. When BOTB actually stages a return is still a mystery but it definitely is on the cards.
For now though, Atif Aslam is embarking on a massive three-country tour. Beginning on July 7 in Houston, the tour will take Atif to Orlando, Dallas, Trinidad, Calgary, Washington D.C. and Toronto as well as some other locations and will come to an end in early August.
With over 20 million fans on Facebook, another 2.6 million tracking him on Instagram and nearly 800,000 following him on Twitter, it is not surprising to see Atif performing in places like Trinidad. Earlier this year, he played a show at the World Forum Theater in Holland.
As for music releases, in addition to lending his voice to a plethora of Bollywood soundtracks, Atif did release a song from his upcoming album but ‘Younhi’ failed to ignite the fire he managed with earlier songs. Atif also starred in a music video alongside Ileana D’Cruz called ‘Pehli Dafa’ and featured prominently during the most recent edition of the Lux Style Awards, which took place earlier this summer.
