* The Alto Knights (starring Robert De Niro, Debra Messing, Cosmo Jarvis) – biographical crime drama; a mob boss (De Niro) orders a hit on his rival (De Niro) for control of a major crime family.

* Ash (starring Eiza González, Aaron Paul, Iko Uwais, Beulah Koale) – sci-fi horror; an astronaut (González) wakes up on a distant planet and finds the entire crew of her space station has been viciously killed.

* The Assessment (starring Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander, Himesh Patel) – sci-fi thriller; in a future where prospective parents must pass a test before they can have a child, a couple (Olsen and Patel) undertake the uncomfortable test and struggle with their relationship.

Scott Clinton Reeves Eastwood

• Born on 21 March 1986 in Monterey, California, U.S.
• Is the son of actor-director Clint Eastwood and flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves.
• Has a younger sister, Kathryn, and six known paternal half-siblings.
• Graduated with a communications degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2008.
• Auditioned for his father’s movies and appeared in several of them – including Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Gran Torino (2008), Invictus (2009), and Trouble with the Curve (2012) – but was at times rejected for the project, like the Clint Eastwood-directed American Sniper (2014).
• Has also appeared in films including Texas Chainsaw (2013), The Longest Ride (2015), Snowden (2016), The Fate of the Furious (2017), Pacific Rim Uprising (2018), The Outpost (2020), Wrath of Man (2021), and Fast X (2023).

Based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. Was announced to be in development even prior to the novel’s publication, with Joon Ho writing the screenplay in 2021 based on an early draft of the book.

Has grossed over US$90 million on a nearly $120 million budget.

Has received positive reviews, with critics finding the film charming and entertaining.
