Perfect pears

RECIPE

Pears are a delicious and versatile fruit that offer numerous health benefits, making them a great addi- tion to any diet. Packed with essential nutrients, pears are especially rich in dietary fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants.

One of the most notable benefits of pears is their high fiber content. A medium-sized pear provides about six grams of fiber, which is essential for maintaining healthy digestion and preventing constipation. The fiber in pears also helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, making them a good choice for people with diabetes or those trying to man- age their weight.

Pears are also an excellent source of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that supports the immune system, promotes healthy skin, and aids in the absorption of iron.

In addition to fiber and vitamin C, pears contain a variety of other beneficial com- pounds, including flavonoids and carotenoids. These antioxidants have anti- inflammatory properties and may reduce the risk of chronic conditions such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Pears are also low in calories and high in water content, making them a hydrating and refreshing snack.
