He embarked on his acting journey with a standout per formance in No Time for Pyar Vyar where his onscreen poise left a lasting impression. His ability to adapt shone through in a variety of serials, including Kaffara, Jugnu, Sirat-e- Mustaqeem, College Gate, and Meri top shape. Aside from his designated cheat Shahzadiyan. Us: How do you define success?

Jabran Husain: Success to me isn't just about money, fame, or accolades, it's about pursuing my passion and unceasingly growing as an actor. It's the feeling of seeing a character come to life, and knowing I gave my all in every role.

Us: How did you carve a niche in the industry? 

JH: I focused on honing my craft through classes and workshops at Lahore Arts Council, experimenting with diverse roles that chal- lenged me. Instead of trying to fit into a stereo- typical canvas, I embraced the unique qualities! bring to the table. This versatility helps me stand out and get roles that resonate with who I am.

Us: With an increasing magnitude of work, how do you manage to look different? 

JH: It's essential to approach every role with a fresh mindset and perspective. I invest time in understanding each character's background and motivations, which helps me embody them differently. Physical transformations - like changing styling- also play a part, but it's real- ly about channelling the essence of the charac- ter that keeps my performances unique.

Us: What initial challenges did you have to face when you stepped into the indus- try?

JH: When I first entered the industry, I was met with tough competition and the pressure to prove myself. Rejection was a huge challenge- I've faced many auditions that didn't go my way However, I learned to see each experience as a lesson, which helped me build resilience and develop my craft.

Us: Do you think that good looks and connections make a star?

JH: While good looks and connections can open doors, they aren't everything. Talent, hard work, and dedication ultimately create lasting success. I believe that a true star shines through his ability to connect with the audience.

Us: How are you preparing yourself to be the next super actor?

JH: Through continuous learning and growth, whether it's working with seasoned actors, or exploring different genres. I also try to stay informed about industry trends and seek out roles that push me beyond my comfort zone. Networking with other talented individ als and collaborating on projects is also a big part of my preparation, as showbiz fraternity helps me stay grounded and motivated.

Us: Of the actors you adore, who really inspires you?

JH: One of my biggest inspirations is Fawad Khan. The way he has represented Pakistan Internationally is very heartwarming. He knows what he utters and we all genuinely relate to it. In films, superstar Sham Shahid is second to nome when it comes to versatility and stardom. The journey of both actors motivates me to keep pushing boundaries.

Us: How do you deal with self-doubt?

JH: I deal with it by reminding myself of my accomplishments and the reasons I fell in love with acting in the first place. Since I am very passionate about my work, therefore I hardly feel that I won't be able to do something.

Us: How has social media changed things for you?

JH: Although I prefer to remain low profile, there is no denying the fact that social media has changed the landscape for actors by allow- ing direct interaction with fans and production houses, which is amazing. It's also a platform for showcasing your work and building a per- sonal brand. However, it can be overwhelming so I try to maintain a healthy balance and use it as a tool for positivity and inspiration rather than comparison.

Orice I tried reading a novel by Sidney Sheldon which went over my head and ever since then I started disliking English.

The mentor I always turned to and relied on was

Azeem Sajjad, a multifaceted legendary actor, director, producer, who helped me discover the actor hidden inside me. He guided me, groomed me to perfection and made me learn how to emote.
