RECIPE
* ¼ cup self-raising flour
* ¼ cup sugar (or less, to taste)
* ¼ cup milk
* 2 tablespoon melted butter
* 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
* A few drops of vanilla extract
* A pinch of salt
* Add the dry ingredients – flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt – into a large (to avoid spillage) microwave-safe mug.
* Stir in the wet ingredients – milk, butter, vanilla – and mix until smooth. You can also add chocolate chips to the mixture if you like.
* Place the mug in a microwave and cook on high for about one and a half to two minutes till the cake stops rising and is done in the middle.
* Sprinkle chocolate chips or chocolate shavings and serve.
Ingredients
* 2 eggs
* ½ to 1 teaspoon chopped onion
* ½ to 1 teaspoon parsley, mint, or both
* 1 tablespoon milk
* 1 teaspoon melted butter
* I tablespoon shredded cheese
* Salt to taste
* Pepper (or red chillis, if you prefer) to taste
Directions
* Add the eggs, onion, parsley/mint, milk, salt, and pepper/red chillis to a bowl. Whisk.
* Spread the melted butter around the inside of a large microwave-safe mug or bowl. (You can alternatively coat the inside of the mug with cooking spray.)
* Pour the egg mixture into the greased mug/bowl and sprinkle with cheese.
* Place the mug in the microwave oven, and microwave for 20 to 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir.
* Again, microwave for 20 to 30 seconds; remove and stir. Repeat until the eggs are fully cooked. (Usually takes around 2 to 3 total minutes, but depends on the oven and settings.)
* Sprinkle shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, or any topping of your choice, and serve with slices of bread.
