Water crisis

Dear Editor,

Shortage of clean water is a significant issue affecting many parts of the world. When clean water is not available, people are forced to use unsafe water for cooking, drinking, sanitation, and hygiene.

Several factors contribute to the shortage of clean water, including pollution, overuse of water, poor water management, and lack of infrastructure for water treatment. This issue can lead to waterborne diseases, food insecurity, and health problems.

To address this issue, collective efforts are required. Government organizations and others should take immediate steps to control this issue by investing in water treatment facilities. In some areas, like Balochistan, the government is not addressing the issue, and there are no facilities to treat water. Therefore, the government should address the shortage of clean water in Balochistan and other places where water facilities are lacking.

Fee fiasco

Dear Editor,

I am writing to bring to your attention the unfair practice of private institutions charging extra fees, including summer vacation fees, from students. This act is unjust and burdensome, especially for families who are already struggling financially.

Logically, if the institution is closed for three months during summer vacation, it is unfair to charge students fees for that period. This issue disproportionately affects low-income families, such as labourers and farmers, who want to provide their children with a bright future by enrolling them in private schools. However, they are unable to afford the extra fees, making it a significant problem that needs to be addressed.
