I have been reading Us for a year and what I like about the magazine is your focus on global warming and climate change. The issue of 14 June was devoted to this very important issue we are facing, and I would like to commend the writers for the thought-provoking articles in this issue. Ed, I think most people still don’t realize the threat and I even heard an aunt saying that it is something distant so she doesn’t have to worry about it. Even if we cannot change the way the older generation thinks, the need of the hour is to educate children from grade one about the danger our planet is in. I think schools should do more; most schools just hold poster competitions to observe the Earth Day. If the education ministry makes it compulsory for schools to educate children about global warming, it might help.

I am a mother of a 14-year-old boy who is passionate about writing on different topics highlighting the significance of various professions in Pakistan. On his very first attempt, he presented a small token of love to all the medical professionals on Mother’s Day, and wrote a poem, Echo of Strength. I request you to consider my son’s poem for possible inclusion in a future edition of Us magazine to encourage him to write and improve in the future. Looking forward to a positive response.

Dear Ed,
I am a fan of Muhammad Nabeel, and I was also heartbroken at the performance of our cricket team. However, the allegations of match-fixing without proof are unfair. In the same way, cricketers should not be bashed on social media.
